We are doing some testing on the kernel related bugs.
Wanted some update on the bug below.Any idea on the status of it?

Balaji has other things on his plate right now... the best thing for
this bug is to confirm it's still wanted by Mickey (it's very old), and
if so, get the list of events he thinks need to be initialized.
